Dual 4A gate drive in an 8-TDFN
The MAX17602ATA+ from Maxim is a dual-channel MOSFET driver rated for 4 A peak output current per channel, housed in an 8-pin TDFN package. Package and rework considerations

The part is ROHS3 compliant, meaning the solder balls and plating are lead-free; reflow profiles follow standard lead-free curves. The package outline is small enough that hand rework with hot air is feasible if the pad is pre-tinned and the board is preheated to reduce thermal shock.
