Boost and SEPIC controller in a small 10-uMAX package
The MAX17499BAUB+ is a current-mode PWM controller from Analog Devices designed for step-up (boost) and step-up/step-down (SEPIC) topologies. It drives a single external N-channel MOSFET with a transistor-driver output, making it suitable for isolated and non-isolated power supplies where the output must be above or straddle the input rail. No synchronous rectifier is built in — the external diode handles the output stage, which keeps the BOM simple for moderate-current designs.
