The MAX16935SATE/V+ is an active-production step-down converter from Analog Devices, qualified to AEC-Q100 for automotive applications. It delivers up to 3.5A from a 3.5V to 36V input rail, covering the full 12V battery range from cold-crank at 4.5V through load-dump transients that hit 36V. The output is adjustable from 1V up to 10V, with a fixed 5V option available — useful for powering 5V logic rails or sensor supplies directly without an external divider.
