4V to 57V ORing controller with integrated switch
The MAX16171ATA/VY+T is an N+1 ORing controller that drives an N-channel MOSFET to create an ideal diode. The internal switch is rated for the full 4V to 57V supply range.
Automotive temperature range and qualification
The automotive grade covers -40°C to 125°C. The 150 µA quiescent supply current stays low across the full temperature range.
Package and footprint for dense boards
Housed in an 8-TDFN-CU (2x3 mm) package with a wettable flank, the part supports automated optical inspection (AOI) of the solder joints. The exposed pad underneath provides a low thermal resistance path to the PCB copper plane.
