Quad-channel power-up sequencing controller
The MAX16166AWPH+ is a quad power supply sequencer from Analog Devices that monitors four independent voltage rails and asserts a common reset output during power-up and power-down sequencing. With a 100 ms typical reset timeout period, it holds downstream devices in reset until all monitored rails are stable, then releases the reset output to start system operation. The active-low, push-pull reset output eliminates the need for an external pull-up resistor, simplifying the board layout for the sequencing controller.
Temperature range and package fit
The 0.5 V threshold per channel means it can monitor low-voltage core rails (0.5 V and above) commonly found in FPGA and SoC power trees.
Sourcing and compliance posture
The device is ROHS3 compliant, meeting the latest EU restriction-of-hazardous-substances directive for lead-free assembly.
