The MAX1614EUA+T is a high-side gate driver designed to drive a single N-channel MOSFET. The driven configuration is high-side, meaning it switches the positive supply rail to the load — the standard topology for battery protection, reverse-polarity blocking, and power-distribution switches where the load returns to ground. Supply voltage spans 5 V to 26 V, covering common automotive and industrial rails from a 5 V logic supply up through a 24 V industrial bus. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +150°C (TJ), which qualifies it for under-hood automotive and high-ambient industrial enclosures where junction temperatures push past 125°C.
