Six-rail supervisor in a 4x4 mm QFN — what it checks and where it fits
The MAX16061ETP+ is a multi-voltage supervisor from Analog Devices that monitors six independent voltage rails simultaneously, issuing a single active-low reset output when any monitored rail falls below its threshold. The open-drain reset output lets multiple supervisors share a common pull-up, so a single line can aggregate fault signals from several rail monitors without contention.
Package and board-fit — the 20-TQFN exposed pad
The 0.50 mm pitch QFN footprint is standard for pick-and-place; the centre pad requires a solder-paste stencil aperture of about 50-60% coverage to avoid voiding under the die attach.
Reset timing and threshold configuration
Reset timeout defaults to 140 ms but can be adjusted with an external capacitor — useful when the downstream processor needs a longer hold time to stabilise its own supply.
Active production and compliance posture
ROHS3 compliant, so it passes the current EU restriction directive without exemption claims — no need for a separate waiver or customer notification on a RoHS line.
