Single-channel battery backup supervisor in a 2x2 DFN
The Maxim Integrated MAX16033PLB29+T is a single-channel battery backup circuit that monitors a 2.93V threshold rail and asserts an active-low, open-drain reset output when the supply drops below that level. It holds reset for a minimum of 140ms after the supply recovers — enough time for a microcontroller or FPGA to complete its power-on reset sequence. The part is rated for -40°C to 85°C, which covers industrial and outdoor telecom applications. It comes in a 10-µDFN package measuring 2x2 mm, a compact footprint for space-constrained boards.
