Single-rail watchdog for 3.3V processor cores
The MAX16020PTES+T is a single-channel voltage supervisor that asserts an active-low reset when the monitored rail drops below 2.946V. That threshold is trimmed for a 3.0V or 3.3V supply — the typical margin before a processor's brown-out reset triggers. Reset stays low for a minimum of 145ms after the supply recovers, which covers the power-up settling time for most MCUs and SoCs before they release the reset pin. The open-drain output lets you wire-OR this supervisor with other reset sources (manual pushbutton, second supervisor) on the same pull-up line without contention.
Industrial temp and small-footprint package
The 16-TQFN package (4x4mm) with exposed pad pulls heat into the PCB ground plane. Surface-mount assembly on standard reflow profiles; the exposed pad requires a solder paste stencil aperture that covers 50-70% of the pad area to avoid voiding.
