The Maxim Integrated MAX16012TT+T is a single-channel voltage supervisor that monitors one supply rail and asserts a reset signal when the voltage drops below a threshold you set. It is a Simple Reset/Power-On Reset type, meaning it holds the reset output low for a minimum of 1 ms after the supply recovers, giving the system time to stabilize before the processor starts executing code. The reset output is active-low and open-drain, so it can be wire-ORed with other reset sources or pulled up to a different voltage than the monitored rail. This is the standard interface for most MCUs and SoCs that expect a low-true reset input. The operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C qualifies it for industrial and automotive environments where the board sees under-hood or outdoor exposure.
