Parametric fit for battery-powered rails
With a 1.8 V minimum input, this part generates a regulated 5 V from a single Li-ion cell that has discharged down to its cutoff voltage. The 125 mA output current is enough to power a small sensor module, an MCU's analog front-end, or a Bluetooth radio in short-burst operation. Switching at 1 MHz keeps the external capacitors small — 1 µF to 10 µF ceramic parts are typical. No synchronous rectifier is integrated, so the output diode's forward drop adds to the dropout — budget about 0.4 V to 0.5 V at full load.
Tube packaging is the factory delivery format — 50 or 100 units per tube, depending on the reel option.
