What this 1V LDO brings to a noise-sensitive rail
The MAX1589AEZT100+T is a fixed 1V output LDO from Analog Devices, rated for 500 mA continuous output. Its 70 dB PSRR at 1 kHz reduces ripple from a switching pre-regulator before feeding a sensor or ADC. The enable and reset control features let the system sequence the rail on/off and hold the load in reset until the output is stable, which is useful for powering a microcontroller core or a small FPGA bank.
