Low-speed precision measurement ADC with integrated PGA
The MAX1416EUE+: Two differential inputs feed into a programmable gain amplifier (PGA), letting the ADC resolve small sensor signals without an external gain stage. Data transfer uses a standard SPI interface, which keeps the digital I/O count low and simplifies isolation if the sensor is on a high-voltage side.
Supply rails, temperature grade, and package
Both analog and digital supplies run from a single 5 V rail, simplifying the power tree — no dual-supply sequencing needed. The reference is external, so the ADC's full-scale range tracks the reference voltage you supply — choose a precision reference for best overall system accuracy.
Supplied in tube packaging; the 16-TSSOP package is a common footprint shared with many ADI converters, making second-sourcing straightforward if a BOM hedge is needed.
