Two-channel simultaneous-sampling ADC for phase-critical measurements
The Analog Devices MAX1379ATP+ is a 12-bit SAR ADC with two internal converters running simultaneously at 1.25 Msps each. The analog supply is 5 V; the digital interface runs from 1.8 V to 5.25 V.
Input flexibility and reference options
The front end is a MUX-S/H-ADC configuration with four inputs that can be wired as two differential pairs or four single-ended channels. The internal reference is on-chip, but you can also drive an external reference if the application needs a tighter accuracy or a different voltage span. The S/H-to-ADC ratio is 1:1, so each converter gets its own track-and-hold — no dead time between channels.
Temperature grade and package for industrial environments
Rated from -40°C to 125°C, this ADC suits outdoor telecom cabinets, engine-bay sensors, and factory-floor data acquisition. The 20-TQFN (5x5 mm) package is a surface-mount exposed-pad design.
Lifecycle and compliance
The MAX1379ATP+ carries an Active product status and is ROHS3 compliant. Store the reels dry — the TQFN package is moisture-sensitive, and a bake step before reflow adds cost if the seal is broken.
