Product details

RS485 bus transceiver with 16 Mbps throughput

The MAX13413EESA+ is a half-duplex transceiver from Analog Devices supporting both RS422 and RS485 protocols, with a single driver and single receiver on board. Rated for 16 Mbps data rate, this part handles the faster end of the RS485 spectrum — suitable for high-speed fieldbus links or multi-drop sensor networks where the bus clock runs above the usual 10 Mbps ceiling.

Receiver hysteresis is specified at 15 mV, which provides noise margin on a long bus run where ground potential differences and cable reflections eat into the differential signal.

Active production and compliance status

RoHS3 compliant per the current directive, with no exemptions that would limit its use in EU-market equipment.
