LINbus transceiver for automotive battery-rail nodes
The Maxim Integrated MAX13021ASA/V+ is a half-duplex LINbus transceiver designed for automotive body-electronics networks. It integrates one driver and one receiver in an 8-SOIC package, operating from a 5V to 38V supply rail — wide enough to handle direct battery connection in 12V and 24V vehicle systems without an external regulator. The -40°C to 125°C temperature range and AEC-Q100 qualification make it a direct fit for under-hood and cabin modules: door controllers, seat adjusters, steering-column switches, and HVAC actuator nodes that communicate over a single-wire LIN bus.
