At 73k samples per second, the MAX1243BCPA+ digitises signals up to the Nyquist limit. The SAR architecture provides a conversion result on each SPI clock burst.

The 8-pin PDIP package (0.300" body width, 7.62 mm row spacing) is a standard through-hole footprint. It plugs into a breadboard or a DIP socket on a prototype PCB.

The MAX1243BCPA+ carries an Active lifecycle status from Maxim Integrated (now part of Analog Devices). It is ROHS3 compliant.
