12-bit SAR ADC with I²C and flexible input mux
The MAX1239KEEE+ is a 12-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) ADC from Analog Devices, sampling at 94.4 kSPS over an I²C-compatible serial interface. The input multiplexer can be configured for six differential or twelve single-ended channels, with the S/H-ADC ratio fixed at 1:1.
Package and board-fit for the 16-pin SSOP/QSOP footprint
Surface-mount assembly with tube shipment; the narrow-body SSOP/QSOP footprint suits dense mixed-signal boards where board real estate is at a premium.
Reference options and conversion architecture
The reference can be driven from an external source or the internal bandgap, giving the designer control over the full-scale range independent of the supply voltage. A single ADC core handles all channels with a 1:1 sample-and-hold to converter ratio, meaning each conversion samples the input at that instant — no pipeline delay between channels.
