Dual 8-bit ADC with simultaneous capture at 7.5 Msps
The Maxim Integrated MAX1191ETI+ is a dual 8-bit pipelined ADC that samples two channels simultaneously at 7.5 Msps each. The pipelined architecture keeps latency low while maintaining 8-bit resolution across the full Nyquist band. Two internal S/H circuits feed dedicated converters — no mux switching, so the phase relationship between channel A and channel B is preserved sample-to-sample. That makes this part a natural fit for I/Q demodulation in software-defined radio, dual-axis position feedback in servo drives, or simultaneous current/voltage sensing in power monitoring.
Input flexibility and reference options
Each channel accepts either differential or single-ended inputs, configurable per channel. The reference can be driven externally or sourced from the internal bandgap.
Industrial temperature grade and package
Rated for -40°C to 85°C, this ADC is suited for environments where the board sees seasonal temperature swings or self-heating from adjacent power stages.
