12-bit SAR ADC for precision data acquisition
The MAX11666AUB+T is a 12-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) ADC from Analog Devices, sampling at 500k samples per second over an SPI interface. It accepts two single-ended inputs through an internal MUX, with a 1:1 S/H-to-ADC ratio that keeps the aperture delay consistent across channels.
Temperature grade and package fit for industrial designs
The 10-uMAX-EP package (3.00mm × 3.00mm, exposed pad) provides a low thermal resistance path to the PCB copper plane—critical when the ADC is near a hot processor or power stage. The 0.118-inch (3.00mm) body width fits standard MSOP-10 footprints; the pad adds about 2.5mm × 2.5mm of copper area underneath for heat sinking.
