12-bit SAR ADC with 300k throughput
The MAX11629EEE+ is a 12-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) ADC from Analog Devices, sampling at 300k samples per second over an SPI bus. The 1:1 S/H:ADC ratio means each conversion acquires a fresh sample — no pipeline delay to budget in the control loop. Eight single-ended inputs are multiplexed into a single converter core, so the effective per-channel throughput is 300k / number of channels scanned — plan the scan sequence around the slowest sensor update rate.
Single-supply rail and industrial temperature range
Reference can be external or internal, giving the designer a choice between a precision external reference for ratiometric measurements or the on-chip reference for board-area savings.
Package footprint and supply chain
The SSOP footprint is standard — no fine-pitch reflow profile needed. Shipped in tube.
