12-bit SAR ADC in a 3x3 mm TDFN
The MAX11103ATB+T is a 12-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) ADC from Analog Devices, sampling at 3 MSPS over a single-ended SPI interface.
Two single-ended inputs, one supply rail
Two single-ended inputs feed through an internal multiplexer to the sample-and-hold stage — the 1:1 S/H:ADC ratio means no pipeline latency per conversion cycle. The analog and digital supply share a common 2.2 V to 3.6 V rail, so a single LDO or buck converter powers the entire ADC side of the signal chain. The external reference input lets you set the full-scale range independently of the supply, matching the sensor's output swing without an external attenuator.
