250k samples/sec, four channels at once
The MAX11047ETN+ is a 16-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) ADC that samples four single-ended inputs simultaneously at 250k samples per second. Each of the four internal A/D converters captures its own channel on the same clock edge, so the phase relationship between signals is preserved — critical for polyphase power monitoring, multi-axis vibration analysis, or any application where the timing offset between channels would alias the measurement. Data comes off the chip over a parallel interface, which means the full 16-bit word is available on the bus in a single read cycle — no serial shift-out delay when the host controller needs to capture all four channels within a tight window.
Reference and supply rails
The ADC accepts either an external reference or its own internal reference, selectable per application. That covers most factory-floor, instrumentation, and telecom environments without needing a mil-spec part.
Package and reflow considerations
Housed in a 56-lead TQFN (8x8 mm) with an exposed pad — the same footprint as the WFQFN package option. The part ships in a tube, not tape-and-reel, so plan for tube-fed pick-and-place or transfer to a tray.
