Four simultaneous SAR cores in one package
The Maxim MAX11047ECB+ packs four independent 16-bit SAR ADCs with simultaneous sampling into a 64-TQFP exposed-pad package. Each of the four converters samples its own single-ended input at 250k samples per second, driven by a shared parallel data interface. The architecture is S/H-ADC with a 1:1 S/H-to-ADC ratio, meaning each input has its own track-and-hold — no multiplexer skew between channels. This makes it a natural fit for phase-coherent multi-channel acquisition in industrial motor-drive current sensing, vibration monitoring, or three-phase power-quality analysis where you need all channels to capture the same instant.
Supply rails and reference flexibility
Analog supply is 5 V; digital supply runs from 2.7 V to 5.25 V. The reference can be internal or external. Operating temperature spans -40°C to 85°C.
Package and layout notes
The 64-TQFP exposed pad must be soldered to a thermal land on the PCB for heat dissipation and low-inductance analog ground return.
Lifecycle status
ROHS3 compliant. No end-of-life notice or last-time-buy window has been issued. For new designs this is a safe choice; there is no urgency to stockpile or qualify a second source.
