The MAX1072ETC+ is a 10-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) ADC from Analog Devices, sampling at 1.8 Msps (megasamples per second) over an SPI digital interface. The differential input architecture rejects common-mode noise picked up on long sensor leads or ground offsets — a real advantage when the signal source sits meters from the ADC on a factory floor or test head.
