10-bit SAR ADC with SPI and on-chip temperature sensor
The Maxim Integrated MAX1031BCTI+ is a 10-bit successive-approximation (SAR) analog-to-digital converter that samples at 300k samples per second over an SPI interface. It accepts up to 8 differential or 16 single-ended inputs through an internal multiplexer, with a 1:1 S/H-to-ADC ratio. The part includes an on-chip temperature sensor, usable for cold-junction compensation or die-temperature monitoring. Supply range is 2.7 V to 3.6 V for both analog and digital rails. Reference can be external or internal. Housed in a 28-TQFN (5x5 mm) package, it operates over 0°C to 70°C.
