7500Vrms isolation — the headline number and what it buys you
7500Vrms is the highest isolation rating on a 6-channel I²C isolator in a BGA package. That rating covers reinforced isolation for 250V working voltage environments and gives a healthy margin for transient overvoltage events in three-phase motor drives or grid-tied equipment. The 50 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity means the isolator won't latch or glitch when a nearby IGBT switches at high dV/dt — a common failure point in inverter-fed systems.
Temperature grade and environment
Rated for 0°C to 70°C operating temperature — commercial grade. Limits this variant to indoor, temperature-controlled environments.
