Active silicon oscillator — no crystal matching needed
The LTC6992HS6-4#TRMPBF is a programmable silicon oscillator from the TimerBlox® family, covering 3.81 Hz to 1 MHz with a single external resistor. Because it is a silicon oscillator, there is no crystal load-capacitance matching or drive-level worry — the frequency is set by the resistor value and the internal timing network. Supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 5.5 V, and the typical supply current is 365 µA. That low quiescent draw makes it viable for battery-operated equipment where every microamp counts.
Housed in a TSOT-23-6 package, the thin SOT-23 profile suits height-constrained enclosures.

Programming the output frequency
