LTC6992CS6-3#TRMPBF is an Analog Devices TimerBlox® silicon oscillator with a programmable output range from 3.81 Hz to 1 MHz. It draws 365 µA typical supply current and operates from 2.25 V to 5.5 V, making it suitable for low-power timing and PWM generation in battery-powered or portable equipment. The TSOT-23-6 package occupies minimal board area and supports surface-mount assembly.
Frequency programmability and low-power profile
The 3.81 Hz to 1 MHz span covers sub-audio to low-frequency PWM, tone generation, and watchdog timer applications. Programming is set by one external resistor — no crystal or external clock source needed. At 365 µA supply current, the LTC6992CS6-3#TRMPBF adds negligible overhead to a 3.3 V or 5 V rail. The 2.25 V minimum supply allows operation from two alkaline cells or a Li-ion battery near end-of-discharge.
