4.194304 MHz silicon oscillator – low-power timing for industrial designs
The LTC6930IDCB-4.19#TRMPBF is a silicon oscillator from Analog Devices that delivers a fixed 4.194304 MHz output without an external crystal or resonator. It draws only 490 µA typical supply current, making it a fit for battery-operated or power-constrained clock trees where every microamp counts. That flexibility simplifies BOM consolidation across multiple voltage domains on the same board. The 8-WFDFN exposed pad package (8-DFN 2x3 mm) requires a thermal land on the PCB – plan a via array under the pad to keep junction temperature in check during extended operation.
Active production – order to BOM quantity
It is ROHS3 compliant, so it meets the latest EU substance restrictions without a waiver.
Package and footprint – 8-DFN with exposed pad
The pad is electrically connected to ground (V−) per the datasheet; a single via under the pad to the ground plane is sufficient for most layouts. The 0.50 mm pitch leads are on the package periphery – standard DFN footprint rules apply, with a 0.30 mm solder-paste stencil aperture recommended to avoid bridging.
