Programmable silicon oscillator in a 10-MSOP footprint
The LTC6902CMS#PBF is a silicon oscillator from Analog Devices that replaces a crystal, ceramic resonator, or LC tank with a single IC. Its frequency is set by a resistor and a digital code, covering 100 kHz to 20 MHz without external tuning components. Housed in a 10-MSOP package (3.00 mm width), it runs from a 2.7V to 5.5V supply and draws 2.5 mA typical — low enough to keep the thermal budget comfortable in a tight layout.
Supply range and temperature grade
The 2.7V to 5.5V supply rail covers 3.3V and 5V logic systems without an extra regulator — one less part on the BOM.
