6A peak drive for fast N-channel switching
The LTC4441ES8-1#PBF is a single-channel low-side gate driver from Analog Devices, designed to drive N-channel MOSFETs with a 6A peak source and sink current. The 13 ns typical rise time and 8 ns fall time mean the driver can charge and discharge the gate capacitance quickly, keeping switching losses low in the MOSFET even at higher frequencies.
Supply and logic interface
The input is non-inverting, meaning the output follows the input polarity with no inversion delay. This simplifies the firmware timing model — the PWM edge from the MCU arrives at the MOSFET gate with only the propagation delay of the driver.
Temperature range and package fit
The 8-SOIC package (0.154" width, 3.90 mm body) uses the standard SO-8 land pattern — no special footprint or thermal pad beyond the usual copper pour for heat sinking.
