2 MHz switching — layout discipline required
At 2 MHz the switching edges are fast enough that a few nH of stray inductance in the input loop will produce visible ringing on the switch node. Keep the input decoupling capacitors within 2–3 mm of the BGA ball-out, and use a solid ground plane on layer 2.
Lifecycle and compliance
The LTC3376EY#PBF carries an Active lifecycle status from Analog Devices — no end-of-life notice, no last-time-buy window. It is ROHS3 compliant (lead-free, no exemptions). For a new-design BOM this is a clean qualification target; no supply-chain clock is ticking.
