Second-source consideration: ADM3067EBRZ
The ADM3067EBRZ is a full-duplex RS485 transceiver from the same family, but it runs on a 3.0 V supply and pushes 50 Mbps — faster but at a lower voltage rail. The LTC2858HDD-1#PBF stays at 5 V, so swapping without adjusting the supply would overstress the 3 V part or under-drive the 5 V bus. The footprint is different too (10-DFN vs. 8-SOIC), so a board spin is required.
