24-bit at 6.8 S/s — the noise-vs-speed trade-off
The LTC2413IGN#PBF: The differential input architecture means the ADC measures the voltage difference between the two input pins, not the signal relative to ground. A bridge sensor or a thermocouple with a grounded junction sees common-mode noise on both lines; the differential front-end cancels that noise before it reaches the modulator.
Single-supply rail and SPI readout
No negative supply or split rail is needed, which simplifies the board-level power tree for a sensor module that already carries a 3.3 V bus. The SPI data interface lets an MCU read the conversion result over three or four wires.
Industrial temperature and SSOP-16 footprint
The 16-SSOP package has a 0.154-inch body width and 0.025-inch lead pitch; it reflows on a standard lead-free profile with a peak temperature around 260 °C.
Active lifecycle and compliance
It is RoHS3 compliant, which means no exemption expiry to track for the EU RoHS recast. The part is supplied in tube; for reel quantities the order code changes to a tape-and-reel suffix, so confirm the packaging with the BOM line before quoting.
