0.5 µV offset — why this chip gets specified for precision DC paths
The LTC2055IDD#PBF is a dual zero-drift op-amp from Analog Devices. Its 0.5 µV input offset voltage and 1 pA input bias current make it the go-to choice for precision DC measurement chains: thermocouple amplifiers, load-cell signal conditioning, photodiode transimpedance stages, and any circuit where drift over temperature would eat into the system error budget. Each of the two channels draws 130 µA supply current, delivering 500 kHz gain-bandwidth product and 0.5 V/µs slew rate.
The supply span from 2.7 V minimum to 11 V maximum covers common sensor and industrial rails.
The ROHS3 compliant finish matches lead-free assembly lines. For designs entering production now, this is not an obsolete or NRND part — no need to stockpile or qualify a drop-in replacement.
Package note: tube delivery, not tape-and-reel
This variant ships in a tube. If your pick-and-place line is set up for tape-and-reel only, note that the LTC2055IDD#PBF is not the reeled version. A tape-and-reel suffix variant may exist in the same family — verify the full order code against your feeder setup before committing the line.
