Differential driver in a 3x3 mm QFN
The LT6402IUD-12#PBF is a differential op-amp from Linear Technology, configured as a two-circuit driver in a 16-QFN package measuring 3x3 mm. It is designed for applications that require a differential signal path — think ADC drivers, single-ended-to-differential conversion, or balanced line driving in communications and instrumentation chains. The exposed pad (16-WFQFN) helps pull heat into the PCB ground plane, which matters when the part is driving low-impedance loads continuously.
The part is also ROHS3 compliant, which keeps it compatible with lead-free reflow processes.
Fixed-gain variant — why the -12 matters
The LT6402 family includes several fixed-gain options: the -6, -12, and -20. This -12 variant provides a gain of 12 dB (4×) internally set, which saves external resistor matching and keeps the gain stable over temperature. If your signal chain needs 6 dB or 20 dB, the LT6402CUD-6#PBF or LT6402IUD-20#PBF are the direct siblings — same package, same pinout, same differential driver core, just a different internal gain setting. The LT6411CUD#PBF is a related differential amplifier but with a different gain architecture; verify pin compatibility before substituting.
