Active dual op-amp for precision industrial signal chains
The LT1881IS8#PBF: It delivers 850 kHz gain-bandwidth product with a 0.4 V/µs slew rate, rail-to-rail output swing, and an input offset voltage of 30 µV typical. Supply span covers 2.7 V to 36 V.
Package and mounting
The 850 kHz gain-bandwidth product sets the usable closed-loop bandwidth. The 0.4 V/µs slew rate limits large-signal response.
30 µV offset and 150 pA bias — precision without the premium
A 30 µV typical input offset voltage and 150 pA input bias current put this part in the precision-adjacent tier — not the sub-µV class of chopper-stabilised amplifiers, but clean enough for thermocouple amplifiers, strain-gauge bridges, and 12-bit ADC front ends. The bias current is low enough that a 10 kΩ source resistor contributes only 1.5 µV of additional offset error.
Supply range 2.7 V to 36 V — single-supply flexibility
The 2.7 V minimum supply means this op-amp runs on a single lithium-ion cell or a 3.3 V regulated rail. At the other end, 36 V maximum covers industrial ±15 V supplies with margin. Rail-to-rail output swing lets it drive an ADC input close to the supply rails without a separate reference — useful in single-supply systems where every millivolt of headroom counts.
The tube shipping medium is typical for prototype and low-volume builds; for reel quantities the 'TR' suffix variant is common.
