Product details

Single-supply general-purpose op amp for 2.5 V to 18 V rails

The LT1783IS5#TRMPBF is a single-circuit general-purpose operational amplifier from Analog Devices' Over-The-Top® series, offering a gain-bandwidth product of 1.3 MHz and a slew rate of 0.45 V/µs. It operates from a supply span of 2.5 V to 18 V, drawing 230 µA of quiescent current per amplifier — a combination that suits battery-powered or low-headroom signal conditioning where the rail voltage is tight and every microamp counts. The rail-to-rail output stage swings within millivolts of both supply rails, preserving dynamic range in single-supply designs without needing a negative rail.

Parametric fit for signal-conditioning loops

Input offset voltage is 500 µV max, and input bias current is 40 nA — adequate for general-purpose sensor buffering and active filtering where the source impedance stays below a few tens of kilo-ohms. Each channel can source or sink 30 mA of output current, enough to drive an ADC input, a reference buffer, or a small relay coil through a series resistor. The operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C covers industrial and commercial environments — the TSOT-23-5 package keeps the board footprint small for dense layouts.
