Charge profile and protection
The LT1510IGN#PBF handles multi-chemistry battery packs up to 20V with a programmable constant-current charge profile, delivering up to 1.5A max charge current. Over-voltage fault protection is built in — if the battery voltage exceeds the regulation point, the charger shuts down rather than forcing current into an already-full cell. Supply input can go as high as 28V, giving headroom for unregulated wall adapters or 24V industrial rails without an external pre-regulator.
Temperature grade and package fit
The tube delivery means the parts ship in an anti-static tube, not tape-and-reel — plan for pick-and-place or hand-assembly accordingly.
Active lifecycle and cross-reference
The part is RoHS3 compliant, so it meets current EU and UKCA substance restrictions without an exemption. The LT1513IR#PBF extends the operating temperature to 125°C junction, but that is a different die and package — useful only if your thermal environment exceeds 85°C ambient.
