Dual op-amp with military temperature range for signal conditioning
The LT1498MPS8#PBF is a dual general-purpose op-amp from Analog Devices' LT® series, rated for -55°C to 125°C operation — the full military temperature band that covers avionics, satellite, and downhole equipment where a commercial-grade part would drift or fail. With a gain-bandwidth product of 10.5 MHz and a 6V/µs slew rate, this amplifier can handle moderate-speed signal conditioning without excessive distortion — suitable for antialiasing filters, sensor buffers, or DAC output stages in a mixed-signal chain.
Rail-to-rail output and low offset for single-supply precision
The rail-to-rail output stage lets the amplifier swing to within millivolts of the supply rails, preserving dynamic range in a 2.2 V to 36 V single-supply system — the supply span covers both 3.3 V and 5 V logic rails as well as higher-voltage industrial buses. Input offset voltage is 200 µV typical, and input bias current is 250 nA — low enough for precision DC-coupled circuits without the extra trimming resistor that a higher-offset op-amp would require. Each channel draws 1.8 mA supply current, and the output can source or sink 30 mA per channel — enough to drive a moderate load or a second-stage ADC input directly.
Active production, ROHS3 compliant, no LTB window
The LT1498MPS8#PBF carries an active lifecycle status — no last-time-buy or NRND flags — so it is suitable for both new designs and ongoing production without a forced migration. It is ROHS3 compliant, meaning no exemptions that would require additional paperwork or restricted-material documentation for EU-market equipment.
