Triple current-feedback amplifier with 1600 V/µs slew rate
The Analog Devices LT1260CS#TRPBF is a triple current-feedback operational amplifier designed for high-speed signal conditioning, video distribution, and pulse amplification where fast settling and wide bandwidth are critical. Its 1600 V/µs slew rate and 130 MHz -3 dB bandwidth let it handle large-signal transients without the slew-induced distortion that limits voltage-feedback amplifiers at similar gain. Each of the three channels draws 5 mA supply current, making the total quiescent draw 15 mA — a reasonable power budget for a multi-channel video line driver or ADC front end. The current-feedback topology means bandwidth stays relatively flat across gain settings, so you don't trade speed for closed-loop gain the way you would with a conventional op-amp.
The LT1260CS#TRPBF operates from a single or split supply spanning 4 V to 30 V total. Each channel can deliver 60 mA output current, enough to drive a 75 Ω video load or a moderate capacitive load like a coaxial cable or an ADC input. The 20 µA input bias current is typical for a current-feedback input stage — expect a few millivolts of offset due to the bias current flowing through source resistance, so balance the impedance at both inputs. Input offset voltage is specified at 2 mV, which is adequate for AC-coupled or moderate-precision DC-coupled paths.
