Product details

7-bit I²C DAC with current-source/sink output

The DS4422N+ is a 7-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices that outputs a current — either sourcing or sinking — controlled via an I²C interface. It integrates two DAC channels, each with 7-bit resolution, in a single 14-TDFN (3x3 mm) surface-mount package.

Linearity and interface

Integral non-linearity (INL) is ±1 LSB max, and differential non-linearity (DNL) is ±0.5 LSB max — monotonic performance is guaranteed, so each code step produces a unique output level without missing codes. The I²C data interface supports standard-mode communication; the DAC does not provide differential output.

Frequently asked questions

What is the output type of the DS4422N+?

The DS4422N+ provides a current output that can be configured as either a current sink or a current source, controlled via the I²C interface.
