The DS28E07+T is an active-production 1Kbit EEPROM from Analog Devices, accessed over a single-wire 1-Wire interface. The 2 µs access time and 256 x 4 memory organization suit it for storing calibration constants, serial numbers, or small configuration tables in a 1-Wire sensor or identification node. The TO-92-3 through-hole package (TO-226AA) is a legacy footprint common in retrofit and field-service applications — it hand-solders easily and fits sockets designed for the 3-pin transistor outline. The wide 3V to 5.25V supply range means the part runs directly from a 3.3V logic rail or a 5V microcontroller bus without an external regulator.
