Threshold and timeout — the fit decision for the reset line

The DS1832U+: It monitors a single voltage rail against two precision thresholds: 2.55 V and 2.88 V, which bracket the typical 2.5 V and 2.8 V supply tolerances for modern digital cores and memory interfaces. The reset timeout is a minimum of 250 ms — long enough to let the monitored supply stabilize after power-up or a brownout event before releasing the system from reset. Because the output is push-pull on both the active-high and active-low pins, no external pull-up resistor is needed; the output stage drives the reset line directly to the logic rail.

Offered in the 8-uMAX/uSOP package (also compatible with 8-TSSOP and 8-MSOP footprints), a surface-mount package with a 3.00 mm body width that fits dense PCB layouts without dominating board area.

Fully ROHS3 compliant, which satisfies the material-restriction requirements for EU and global markets without a separate waiver or exemption.
