The DS1706TESA+T&R: The 3.08V threshold sits just under the nominal 3.3V rail, giving a ~220mV margin before the reset triggers — enough headroom to ride through minor supply dips without nuisance resets, but tight enough to catch a brownout before the downstream logic enters an undefined state. The 130ms minimum reset timeout covers the power-up settling time of most MCUs and FPGAs, so the processor starts only after the oscillator and PLL have locked. Housed in an 8-SOIC package (3.90mm width, 0.154" pitch), it is a straightforward hand-solderable or reflow part. The footprint is standard for small-outline ICs — no fine-pitch challenges, and the orientation is marked clearly enough for a field swap with a basic iron and a loupe.
