130ms reset timeout — why it matters
The 130ms minimum reset timeout gives the power supply and oscillator time to stabilize before the processor starts executing code. If your MCU requires a longer power-up delay — say 200ms for a crystal oscillator or a slow-start power module — this part may not hold the reset long enough. In that case you would need a supervisor with a longer timeout or an external RC delay on the reset line.
Active status and sourcing
The DS1706SEUA+ is listed as Active on the manufacturer's product status. That means no last-time-buy risk and no forced redesign for obsolescence. It is ROHS3 compliant.
