Dual 10kΩ digital potentiometer with 256-tap resolution
The Maxim DS1267BS-010+ is a dual-channel, 256-tap digital potentiometer in a 16-SOIC package. Each of the two potentiometer sections presents a 10kΩ end-to-end resistance with a linear taper characteristic, controlled via a serial interface. The wiper resistance is typically 900Ω, and the temperature coefficient runs 750ppm/°C across the -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range. This is a volatile memory-type device — wiper position is lost when power is removed and must be re-initialized at each power-up. The serial interface and cascade pin allow daisy-chaining multiple devices on a single bus. The ±20% tolerance is typical for digital pots.
