Threshold, timeout, and temperature range
The DS1233A-10+T&R: The 2.88V threshold sits at the low end of the 3.3V ±10% window, so the supervisor asserts reset before the core supply falls below the minimum operating voltage of most 3.3V logic. The 250 ms minimum reset timeout covers the power-on settling time of typical ceramic-bypassed supplies and crystal oscillators. The open-drain output lets multiple supervisors wire-OR their reset signals on a shared pull-up rail.
Through-hole TO-92 package — integration note
The TO-92-3 package with formed leads (TO-226-3, TO-92-3 TO-226AA) is a through-hole footprint that mounts directly into a 0.100-inch pitch header or solders into plated through-holes on a prototype board.
No pin-compatible alternative from the same manufacturer is listed as an official successor.
