250 ns total delay, 5 taps at 50 ns increments
The DS1100Z-250+ is a 5-tap silicon delay line with a total delay of 250 ns, each tap spaced 50 ns apart.
Timing granularity and signal integrity
With five taps and a 50 ns tap increment, this delay line provides coarse timing adjustment for clock alignment, pulse-width correction, or signal deskewing in 50 ns steps. The first tap is available at 50 ns from the input, and the total delay to the final tap is 250 ns. The nonprogrammable function means the delay is fixed at manufacture — no external resistors or code to set the timing. This simplifies the BOM and eliminates drift from analog tuning components.
SOIC-8 footprint and surface-mount assembly
The supplier device package is 8-SOIC, matching the industry-standard SOIC-8 land pattern. Supplied in tube packaging, typical for low-volume production or prototype runs where tape-and-reel is not required.
It is fully RoHS3 compliant, meeting the latest European hazardous-substance restrictions for lead-free assembly.
